Comedian Lee Se-young shared the situation at the time when she had to undergo emergency surgery due to complications from breast fillers.
On the 23rd, a video titled "A story of surviving complications from plastic surgery" was uploaded on the 'This is the final' channel.
On that day, when asked about the areas she had plastic surgery on, Lee Se-young explained, "I did my eyes twice, my nose once, and I had breast surgery. I did the eyes with buried stitches, which can be removed. I had buried stitches once and an incision once, and I had upper eyelid surgery, lateral eyelid surgery, and under eyelid surgery. I had fillers injected into my breasts, then underwent removal surgery, and recently had proper implants put in."
She added, "And this has been misunderstood. There was an article claiming that I got areola tattoos, but to clarify, it's not a tattoo; it's just a method to make the color pretty by applying a cream that can lead to pigmentation. It's not done with a stick like a tattoo. It hurts. How sensitive it is! The color gradually fades to a rosy color. Just applying it can make it pink. It doesn't hurt at all. I'm currently a rosy color. Of course, I absolutely do not recommend it, but if it's necessary, receiving it can really help restore self-esteem."
In particular, regarding plastic surgery, she noted it was about "the level of a domestic car, like Genesis" and mentioned spending several tens of millions of won, identifying "breasts" as the most expensive part.
She revealed, "When I was active on SNL, I played a beautiful character from behind, so I wanted to be beautiful from the front too. At that time, I hadn't done anything to my face. I wanted my body to look better, but my breasts were a bit small back then. I inserted fillers into my breasts. Good fillers can be expensive even if you only use a few cc. I put a lot in there. I injected about 10 million won worth of fillers."
She continued, "I went to work out and bumped my chest against a barbell. The surgery site tore, and all the fillers leaked out. I was really shocked. My biceps and triceps suddenly got big; my left arm looked like the Hulk. At the same time, that side of my breast disappeared. I realized the fillers had ruptured. I looked for a clinic that could remove the fillers. They said I needed emergency surgery. There were people who even had it spread down to their toes. I had to undergo surgery quickly because I had filming the next day and the day after. I walked around with it tied up to prevent it from leaking. I was scared," she expressed her fear.
Lee Se-young said, "Then, when the timing came to take a break from my schedule, I had the surgery. Of all the procedures and surgeries I've had until now, the breast filler removal surgery was the most painful. I was hesitant about what to do, but since I want to get married and date, I decided to go for it. I didn't feel like making a boyfriend because of my breasts. Even I didn't like it. My self-esteem had dropped so much, that's why I did it."
