The SBS entertainment program "Same Bed, Different Dreams Season 2: You Are My Destiny" is celebrating its 400th episode on Aug. 4 with a six-week special broadcast featuring 'destiny couples' who will grant their appearances.
According to SBS on the 24th, the special broadcast of Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 will feature caricature artist Jeong Eun-hye as the first guest in celebration of the 400th episode. She gained recognition for her role as Han Ji-min's twin sister in "Our Blues."
Jeong Eun-hye, who has Down syndrome, received much support after marrying Mr. Cho Young-nam in May this year following a year-long relationship that began at a public job site for people with developmental disabilities. The couple will share their story on air for the first time.
In Gyo-jin and So Yi-hyun, the longest-lasting couple on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' will also grant their appearances in the special broadcast. It has been about five years since they appeared together as a destiny couple, last seen during the 2020 third anniversary special.
In this 400th special, in addition to Jeong Eun-hye and Cho Young-nam and In Gyo-jin and So Yi-hyun, there are plans to include 'destiny couples' that viewers want to see again, as well as new destiny couples. The six-week special of Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 will air on Aug. 4 at 10:10 p.m.
Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 has been a couples' entertainment program that has reached viewers every Monday since it first aired in July 2017. A total of 90 couples have granted their appearances on the show. It recorded a peak rating of 15.8% in the metropolitan area according to Nielsen Korea, maintaining the highest viewer rating during the same time slot for 76 consecutive weeks. The total views for YouTube clips have surpassed 1.8 billion.
