The couple photoshoot of Park Bo-young and Park Jin-young from 'Our Unwritten Seoul' is heating up online, and couples in their 50s cannot be left out.
In the drama 'For the First Time in Love', Yum Jung-ah and Park Hae-jun met with Elle. In keeping with the warm portrayal of the changing emotions between single mom Lee Ji-an (Yum Jung-ah), who is a construction site manager, and single dad Ryu Jeong-seok (Park Hae-jun), an architectural designer, the photoshoot focused on capturing the pair's intimate yet witty atmosphere.
After the photoshoot, an interview was conducted. Yum Jung-ah responded to a question about what attracted her to the story, saying, "It was a work that had everything. From comfortable life acting to emotional acting, romance, and the love between mother and daughter... The fact that I can show all of this in one drama is such a great opportunity for an actor." Regarding Ji-an, she added, "She has gone through hardships since she was young but has persevered, living for her daughter Hyo-ri, who is the driving force in her life. Love finds that mother, and there's also new realizations about love in her relationship with her daughter. To be honest, these days my tone of voice resembles that of Ji-an, so I feel like I have become that character," expressing her affection for the role.
Park Hae-jun, who received love for 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' and 'YADANG: The Snitch' in the first half of the year, noted, "I received overwhelming love, but the more I do, the more calmly I prepare for the work with a mix of expectations and concerns as usual." He shared, "It's pleasing when the character changes along with the drama's progression, and this work has that element throughout. Although we are all adults, there are parts where we grow through new experiences. The comma between 'first' and 'love' in the title holds many meanings," raising expectations.
As a work by director Yoo Je-won, who has carefully captured the emotional lines of male and female protagonists in works such as 'Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha', 'Crash Course in Romance', and 'A Friend's Son', when asked about the chemistry between the two, Yum Jung-ah said, "Hae-jun is really a good person and an interesting person. I understand why everyone praised him," while Park Hae-jun commented, "Unlike me, who can be a bit stiff, Yum Jung-ah is natural and flexible in everything. It would be even better if Ji-an and Jeong-seok looked pretty and handsome on screen, but I hope their appearance evokes empathy in the story's flow."
