Actress Im Soo-hyang attracted attention with her candid and cute self-disclosure, ranging from luxury padding to supercars.
Im Soo-hyang recently embarked on her first solo entertainment challenge through her YouTube channel 'Im Soo-hyang and the Turtle and the Crane.' In the first episode, which she described as 'YouTube I've been talking about for 10 years,' her daily life and inner thoughts were fully revealed.
In the video, Im Soo-hyang, while contemplating tidying up her house, laughed and said, 'I know what to throw away, but I throw it out and then pick it up again.' She also shared a story of her failed organization. The item she pulled from her closet was a padding coat she had worn 20 years ago. 'This is a Blue Marine product that is no longer available. Back then, we were a bit wealthy,' she mentioned, subtly referring to her affluent school days.
Afterward, she went out to Seochon by car. When asked by the production team, 'It seems like you haven't had the car for long?' she nonchalantly replied, 'It's been over 2 years.' However, the mileage was only 3,600 km. When the production team expressed their surprise, she added, 'I only go nearby for exercise. I don't have much reason to drive.'
She also complained, 'Even a little bit of driving feels too fast. The ride quality isn't good.' When the production team asked, 'Then why did you buy this car?' Im Soo-hyang humorously replied with one word, 'It's for show.' Despite this, she was flustered while wandering the streets, asking, 'Where is Anguk?' and remarked, 'Is this how you do YouTube? It feels like I'm filming a full entertainment show,' showcasing her cheerful charm as she roamed cafes and prop shops.
During a meal, she noted, 'All my friends are from elementary, middle, and high school, and they don't think of me as a celebrity,' adding, 'That's why I think I've been able to stay the same.'
Meanwhile, Im Soo-hyang has been active in various works since making her debut in the 2009 film '4th Period Mystery,' including 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty,' 'Elegant Mothers,' and 'Blow Breeze.'
In the past, she appeared on 'Radio Star' and mentioned, 'My father runs a wedding hall business in Busan, and one of my two brothers operates a cafe in China,' adding, '(As for the size of the wedding hall) it was honestly good back in the day,' drawing attention.
