Broadcaster Lee Sang-jun has reached the final moment of the 'Journey of Fate' gathering to revisit extinguished connections.
Lee Sang-jun appeared on the final episode of KBS2's 'Pursuing Old Encounters' (hereafter referred to as 'POE') Season 2, which aired on the 21st, showcasing a profound charm that touched viewers' hearts. Lee Sang-jun interacted with Wax (Jo Hye-ri) with sincerity different from his usual cheerful demeanor, leaving a deep impression as 'a standard for younger men.'
In the previous broadcast, Lee Sang-jun and Wax, who had lit different candles of fate from their first meeting, grew closer through a 'nail art date,' conveying the youthful excitement of an age-gap couple. However, in the final one-on-one dinner date ahead of the final choice, they ultimately sorted out their feelings.
Before the final choice to apply for 'after connections' with those he wanted to continue ties with, Lee Sang-jun noted, "While doing 'POE,' I came to know what kind of person I am. I did not have an ideal type. Unless I fell in love at first sight, I did not want to get to know that person," adding, "I learned and felt that even without falling in love at first sight, one can like someone and that I also had an ideal type."
In particular, Lee Sang-jun expressed, "I wondered if I lived badly. I finally met someone with the qualities I like, but I could not give up my age. I will convey it in writing later if I have the chance," while holding back tears.
In the final choice, the selections of all previous participants from 'POE' Season 2 were all different, leaving no couple formed, which caused disappointment. Lee Sang-jun, who did not light a candle, expressed, "It was a good time. I met many good people and it was a program that helped me find myself."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-jun will appear on MBC's 'Radio Star' aired on the 23rd at 10:30 p.m., meeting with the audience.
