God member Yoon Gye-sang summoned 'national baby' Jae-min on 'Timeman' and brought back memories.
'God's Parenting Diary' is an MBC entertainment program that aired from Jan. 9, 2000, to Jan. 5, 2002. It featured god members taking care of baby Jae-min, who at the time was 11 months old and did not cry much while being separated from his parents, receiving a lot of love as the 'national baby.'
The oldest member and leader Park Jun-hyung was 'king dad,' while the member that Jae-min followed the most, Son Ho-young, was 'queen mom.' Kim Tae-woo, Yoon Gye-sang, and Danny Ahn took charge of entertainment, bathing, fashion, and sleep, respectively, putting effort into parenting, and Jae-min played the role of the program's mascot throughout the broadcast. Jae-min was revived again on SBS's 'Timeman.' The episode aired on the 22nd and featured the main actors of the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles,' including Yoon Gye-sang and Kim Yo-han, meeting Yu Jae-seok, Yoo Yeon-seok, and friends.
In that broadcast, Kim Yo-han said, 'I was born in 1999 when god debuted,' and a surprised Yoon Gye-sang replied, 'Yo-han and Jae-min are the same age.' Although Kim Yo-han was not very familiar with 'Jae-min,' Yu Jae-seok remarked, 'To put it in today's terms, it's like BTS doing a parenting variety show. God has achieved universal unity.'
Kim Yo-han said, 'I also know (god's) popularity. The first celebrity I asked for an autograph was Yoon Gye-sang. My mother liked him a lot,' which drew laughter. Yu Jae-seok mentioned, 'There were really a lot of 'Gye-sang's wives' across the country,' referring to not just god but also Yoon Gye-sang's popularity.
Meanwhile, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles,' featuring Yoon Gye-sang, is set to air its first episode on the 25th at 9:50 p.m. 'Try: We Become Miracles' is a comedic coming-of-age sports drama about the unpredictable oddball director Joo Ga-ram (Yoon Gye-sang) and the eternally low-ranking rugby team at Hanyang High School racing toward victory in the national championships.
