Former Baby V.O.X group member Lee Hee-jin revealed a story about nearly being abducted by an assailant during her active years.
On the afternoon of the 22nd, the comprehensive television channel TV Chosun's 'Modern Biography Mr. Lee' discussed the incident where the only survivor of the 'Sinjeong-dong Bug-Eyed Rabbit Murder Case' escaped from the perpetrator's basement home.
While discussing the incident, Lee Hee-jin said, "I also had an incident where I was almost abducted during my time with Baby V.O.X," adding, "After filming, I was about to go home when one streetlight was off. I was on a phone call, and strangely, a car kept pushing me to the side."
She continued, "I was wondering, 'What's going on?' but the car had no lights on at all. The headlights weren't on either. It was moving very slowly," and recalled the tense moment when "the sliding door of the van suddenly opened, and they grabbed my neck and pulled me in."
Lee Hee-jin shared her account of nearly being abducted, stating, "I was trying to get away while they were pulling my hair, and all I could do was throw down my bag. As a result, I developed trauma to the point where I couldn't breathe whenever a car entered a dark alley or isolated area."
Although it was a horrific incident, Lee Hee-jin was fortunate to escape the abduction thanks to her quick response. However, she expressed that she was left with significant trauma from the event, adding to the sadness of the situation.
The panelists reacted in shock, saying, "In such situations, you should definitely abandon everything and run away. Many people get abducted while trying to protect their bags. You made a very good judgment."
