Ahn Hyo-seop talked about the action behind 'Omniscient Reader.'
On the broadcast of KBS Cool FM's 'Lee Eun-ji's Music Plaza' on the 23rd, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Min-ho, Cha Soo-bin, and Shin Seung-ho appeared as guests.
'Omniscient Reader: The Prophet' is a fantasy action movie in which, on the day the novel that has been serialized for over 10 years concludes, the world in the novel becomes reality, and the only reader, 'Kim Dok-ja,' survives in the destroyed world together with the protagonist 'Yu Jung-hyeok' and his companions.
Ahn Hyo-seop, who plays the role of 'Kim Dok-ja,' said he performed all the action without a stunt double. He recalled, "Ultimately, it's more realistic for the actor to do it directly, and it doesn't stand out. The director requested it, and I wanted to have fun with it too."
Lee Min-ho, who was listening, added, "Hyo-seop has good physique, so there are no stunts available. He has to do it all. He is very tall."
He continued, "Actually, I'm in the same situation. There aren't many tall roles, and the body lines are noticeable, so it seems that actors with a certain ambition tend to handle it as much as possible," drawing laughter.
When asked about injuries during filming, Lee Min-ho confessed, "Everyone had some sort of injury." Shin Seung-ho joked, "That's how it feels good to film," creating laughter.
