Wow! Really? Kim Kyung-wook, who appeared as a guest on "Wow! This is real?", won the honor of receiving an award at the "20205 Brand Awards," but he revealed that he was "protested by Mr. Tanaka," bringing laughter.
On the 24th, in the 9th episode of SBS's "Wow! This is real?", comedian Kim Kyung-wook was seated in the studio as a special guest alongside 4 MCs, Jun Hyun-moo, Baek Ji-young, Kim Ho-young, and Subin, where the "This is real in Japan special" unfolded.
From "Dangerous Hair Salon" to "Street Interview IN JAPAN," "The Man Who Defies Gravity," and "Living Life to the Fullest," a total of four stories are prepared, where Jun Hyun-moo introduces Kim Kyung-wook, who has been loved for his characters Mr. Tanaka and Kim Hong-nam, saying, "A humor creator who endlessly generates laughs until it works!" He then mentions, "I heard there was something to celebrate recently," informing about Kim Kyung-wook receiving the 'Comedian' award at the "2025 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards." Kim Kyung-wook stated, "I won the award as 'Kim Kyung-wook,' not as Mr. Tanaka or Kim Hong-nam. When that happened, Mr. Tanaka protested, saying, 'I did all the work, so why do you get the award?'" causing an explosion of laughter in the studio.
In a cheerful atmosphere, the production team heads to Osaka, Japan, where they attempt street interviews, revealing that citizens said, "There are truly unique people in Osaka, and there's a peculiar hairdresser who puts foam on customers' faces, so go meet them," stirring curiosity. Shortly after, the crew searches for the main character of "Dangerous Hair Salon," Yabai Color-ya, who states, "I only take two customers a day," seeking understanding from the customer scheduled for that day's "Facial Shampoo" and demonstrating the washing process. Jun Hyun-moo, having never seen anything like it, expresses his skepticism, saying, "Isn't that hairdresser relieving his stress?"
Amidst the rising curiosity about what kind of service Yabai Color-ya's "Facial Shampoo" offers, in the next story, "Street Interview IN JAPAN," the "Dog Wealthy Man," a famous sight at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, appears alongside a "Giant Rough Collie," drawing attention. The "Dog Wealthy Man," who walks an astonishing 21 dogs, proudly states, "I can walk up to 32 at once." Here, the "Giant Rough Collie" comes into view in front of the production crew, causing the studio MCs to express doubt, saying, "It looks like a robot." Moments later, as secrets surrounding this dog are revealed, Jun Hyun-moo remarks, "It's the most shocking thing I've seen recently," struggling to find the words.
