The Sicilian-themed pop-up store operated by T-Cast E Channel's 'Study Abroad Food Show' at Hyundai Department Store in Mokdong from the 12th to the 20th concluded amidst a heated atmosphere of coverage and favorable reviews from visitors.
The 10th episode, released on the 21st, showcased the third pop-up store where Ryu Su-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Ki-hyun personally appeared to interact with visitors. At this pop-up store, which was the last for 'Ryu Nam-seng,' Ryu Su-young introduced 'popcorn squid', Yoon Kyung-ho presented 'Sicilian eggplant caponata chicken', and Ki-hyun showcased 'caramel pistachio tiramisu'. Additionally, a dessert made from Sicilian blood oranges, 'blood orange granita', was also prepared as part of the pop-up store menu. From the opening, around 1,000 people queued up. The three brothers were so enthusiastic that they remarked, 'Next time, we could serve 10,000 people.'
The venue, which opened its doors, attracted visitors from all over the world, including China, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Canada. Having held pop-up stores three times from Porto, Brunei, to Sicily, many returning visitors were recognized by Ryu Su-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Ki-hyun. Their friendly demeanor, remembering and communicating with repeat customers while dedicating themselves to cooking and packaging, created a warm atmosphere. Yoon Kyung-ho noted, 'I really put my soul into this last pop-up,' transforming into 'Yeong-eop-ping' and making a significant contribution. Ki-hyun also returned from 'Study Abroad' to 'Idol', captivating female fans with his 'main job' service. Amid a surge of orders leading to a stockout situation, Ryu Su-young took charge of the kitchen while sending half-hearted gestures, managing to cater to both the visual and culinary enjoyment.
Viewers who tasted the new menu at this pop-up store remarked, 'I tried Ryu-hak food at the last pop-up, and it was so delicious,' and 'The popcorn squid is delicious. It's sweet, refreshing... it's all there,' giving it high praise. The 'Study Abroad Food Show' featuring Ryu Su-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Ki-hyun is set to donate the revenue from the three pop-up stores.
After completing the pop-up store schedule, Ki-hyun expressed, 'I thought I would rely on them a lot, but I didn't realize the big brother (Ryu Su-young) would be such a pillar. I want to thank my brothers.' Yoon Kyung-ho also conveyed, 'I think Ki-hyun worked the hardest taking care of our lacking brothers, and thanks to him, we could hold on,' which created a warm atmosphere. Ryu Su-young stated, 'I haven't seen anyone work this hard. It's tough for someone who knows nothing to learn to cook. The important thing is that the passion has increased,' cheering on his younger brothers.
The food world tour featuring Ryu Su-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Ki-hyun, known as the 'Food Brothers Who Know It All,' presented by T-Cast, has concluded all its culinary study abroad schedules after finishing the 10 episodes.
