Comedian Lee Sugeun's wife and influencer, Park Jiyeon, shared her new dreams and challenges.
On the 22nd, Park Jiyeon posted a photo on her Instagram taken while working on a sewing pattern. The photo features several curves, measurements, and cutting lines carefully drawn on a design, with a curved ruler placed on top.
The phrase read, "I have a dream. If it ever comes true, I want my son to wear the clothes I made and stand on stage. I need to learn perseverance." This message moved many viewers.
Currently, Park Jiyeon is known to be battling illness and juggling childcare and work as she prepares for a kidney transplant surgery. Nevertheless, her determination filled with dreams and hope for her son resonates deeply with many people.
Park Jiyeon married Lee Sugeun in 2008 and has two sons. However, during her second pregnancy in 2011, her kidney function deteriorated due to pregnancy-induced hypertension, and she has been living with illness. She received a kidney transplant from her father but has continued dialysis treatment due to complications. Meanwhile, she was advised by medical staff to consider a kidney transplant and applied to wait for donation from a brain-dead donor. She is set to receive a kidney from her biological brother in mid-August for her second surgery.
