This summer, director Lee Sang-geun's new film 'Pretty Crazy' (provided/distributed by CJ ENM | produced by Woo Yoo Nae Kang Co., Ltd. | directed by Lee Sang-geun) has released a production video.
The movie 'Pretty Crazy' portrays the struggles of a young unemployed man, Gil-koo (Ahn Bo-hyun), who gets embroiled in a bizarre part-time job monitoring Sun-ji (Lim Yoon-a), who awakens as a devil every dawn, in this comedic narrative filled with devilish antics.
'Pretty Crazy' has unveiled its production video. The released production video showcases the joyful and lively atmosphere on set, reminiscent of the movie 'Pretty Crazy'. Notably, the chemistry between Sun-ji (Lim Yoon-a) and Gil-koo (Ahn Bo-hyun), along with the strong synergy between director Lee Sang-geun and the actors, as well as the production team from 'Exit,' is evident.
Lim Yoon-a noted, "I felt really comfortable, and friendly while filming," explaining the cheerful atmosphere on set with Ahn Bo-hyun, with whom she collaborated. Ahn Bo-hyun expressed, "I was able to trust and be comfortable, and the atmosphere on set was well-led," showcasing a strong sense of trust in Lim Yoon-a and the production team.
Joo Hyun-young, who plays Sun-ji's quirky cousin Ara, said, "You will truly see a chemistry that you can't find anywhere else," raising anticipation for the sweet and spicy interactions among the actors.
Chae Kyung-sun, the art director of 'Squid Game' and 'Exit,' mentioned, "Their perfect, adorably fun chemistry seems like it will be interesting." Since director Lee Sang-geun worked with the production team from 'Exit' once again on this project, he explained, "Since we knew what needed to be done without speaking, everything fit well together," highlighting the harmonious atmosphere on set. The descriptions of each character by the actors and director Lee Sang-geun make one anticipate that the relationships and synergy among the characters will be unique and fresh, unlike anything seen in previous films.
It will be released nationwide in theaters on Aug. 13 (Wed).
