BTOB, Dynamic Duo, and Fifty Fifty will be in Jecheon.
The signature performance program 'One Summer Night' of the Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF, Executive Chairman Jang Hang-jun) will take place at Jecheon Airfield from September 5 to 6. This performance, set in a unique location where the overwhelming sense of space of the Jecheon Airfield runway blends with nature, will revolve around the theme of 'flight' and is expected to lead audiences to a special experience as summer comes to an end.
On the 5th, artists crossing genres such as indie pop, rock, electronic, and hip-hop will participate, including 10CM, N.Flying, Daybreak, and Glen Check. Emotional singer-songwriter '10CM', who began in the indie scene and established himself as an icon in the Korean music industry, the multi-national alternative K-pop group 'Balming Tiger', which aims to spread cheerful influence worldwide, 'Daybreak', known as 'the emperor of festivals' for their music that transcends generations and tastes, and 'Glen Check', whose unique presence embodies a wide range of genres including rock, synth-pop, R&B, and jazz, will also perform.
On the 6th, audiences can meet musicians across a variety of genres including K-pop, ballad, R&B, and hip-hop, such as Dynamic Duo, Fifty Fifty, BTOB, Jung Seung-hwan, John Park, and SAY MY NAME. The legendary hip-hop duo 'Dynamic Duo', who have led the Korean hip-hop scene, Fifty Fifty, who debuted in 2022 and received global attention with their single 'Cupid' by entering the Billboard Hot 100 for the longest period among K-pop groups, the representative boy group of Korea 'BTOB', who reached the peak of 'ballad idols', Jung Seung-hwan, who is beloved for his delicate sensibility and deep voice, and 'John Park', a ballad/R&B singer-songwriter who is warmly received for his sweet mid-range voice and deep emotions, as well as 'SAY MY NAME', a seven-member multinational girl group that delivers their own harmony and genuine stories through music and activities created by members from diverse backgrounds, will all take the stage.
Meanwhile, the 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will be held from September 4 to 9 in the Jecheon area. It is noteworthy that various works will be invited to showcase the global trends in music films, including a large-scale opening ceremony at Jecheon Airfield. Enrollment for the 'Jecheon Film Music Academy (JIMFA)', which trains the next generation of film composers, will begin on July 24.
