Former Click-B member and broadcaster Kim Sang-hyuk admitted the difficulties of long-distance relationships and offered realistic dating advice.
On the 23rd, Kim Sang-hyuk appeared as a guest on KBS Joy's YouTube content "Love's Concern: Men and Women" Season 4, Episode 2, where he shared his experiences after listening to a story from a university student studying abroad in the U.S.
On that day's broadcast, a male student who was continuing a long-distance relationship with his Korean girlfriend he met as an exchange student experienced conflict as he grew closer to a female student who could help him with his career.
In response to MC Kim Min-jung's question, "Do you have experience with long-distance relationships?" Kim Sang-hyuk revealed, "A friend I used to date is working overseas, so we didn't keep in touch well and couldn't meet often. In the end, that was it. There was no overlap in our futures."
He also emphasized a mature attitude in dating regarding the inquirer's concerns: "It is courteous to meet someone else only after your feelings have completely settled," and added, "You must maintain a minimum level of respect for the other person."
Meanwhile, Kim Sang-hyuk has continued various broadcasting activities such as entertainment and radio DJ after debuting as a member of the group Click-B.
When asked about relationships in a past broadcast, Kim Sang-hyuk disclosed, "I lost 20 million won to a romance scam," surprising viewers. He said, "We exchanged numbers after chatting for a while but didn't meet up. After talking about various things, we decided to date. Two and a half months went by like that. We were exchanging photos and doing things, but it turned out it was all fraudulent. The videos I had seen were all celebrity videos, and I even had been on a show with them."
Additionally, Kim Sang-hyuk married a shopping mall CEO in 2019 but faced separation in April 2020. It was reported that the two did not formally register their marriage and had sorted out their de facto relationship.
