The group LUN8 (Fantagio) proved its presence as a leading figure in the next generation of K-pop.
LUN8 won the Popular Rising Star award at the Asia Top Awards 2025 held on the 19th at the Phenix Grand Ballroom in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Asia Top Awards is a global awards ceremony that recognizes artists and content gaining attention throughout Asia, awarding promising artists from various countries. Through this award, LUN8 has solidified its position as a leading figure in the next generation of K-pop.
LUN8 expressed their gratitude through their agency Fantagio, saying, "It is an honor to receive a meaningful award under the name LUN8. We will continue to work hard so that we can receive more significant awards as LUN8. Thank you to our fans, LUV8, for always supporting us as we move forward as LUN8!"
Starting with their debut song "Wild Heart," LUN8 has shown fresh concepts and unique charms with each release, making a strong impression on global fans with songs like "PASTEL," "SUPER POWER," and "WHIP." Notably, their single "Butterfly," released in February, showcased an original sentiment that harmoniously blended Eastern tones with hip-hop, proving their upgraded skills.
In Japan, they achieved success with their debut single "Evergreen" and their second single "Together Forever," both making the Oricon weekly single rankings Top 10 and securing the 3rd position on the Oricon daily single rankings, respectively.
This year, they are steadily expanding their activities overseas and establishing themselves as leading figures in the next generation of K-pop. In April, they successfully toured five cities, including Warsaw, Poland; Berlin, Cologne, Germany; Madrid, Spain; and Amsterdam, Netherlands, with their debut European tour "2025 THE BEGINNING: LUN8 SHOW[K]ASE TOUR."
Following this, LUN8 will hold their "LUNight Into The Moonlight" tour on the 25th and 26th of this month in Manila and Cebu, Philippines, where they will meet local fans. With strong teamwork and their unique positive energy, LUN8's well-crafted stage is expected to excite fans in the Philippines.
Meanwhile, LUN8 recently took the stage at the 2025 Weverse Con Festival and is currently engaging with fans through various content.
