Broadcaster Kim So-young revealed her severance pay when leaving MBC.
Kim So-young had a time to communicate with her fans on the 22nd. When a fan asked what she did with the severance pay, Kim So-young stated, "I used the severance pay to establish a book publishing house in Dangin-ri."
She added, "Since I only worked at MBC for 5 years, my severance pay was quite small."
Additionally, regarding the best thing she did this first half of the year, she said, "There have been many events on my way home this first half of the year. I'm grateful that many people acknowledged and supported my work."
She then remarked, "As for the events this first half of the year, it feels more like they naturally occurred rather than I did something well, and I think there are still stages left to prove that." She added, "What I believe I did best is not something I can disclose yet, but I hope the day comes when I can talk about it."
Meanwhile, Kim So-young, who developed a relationship with Oh Sang-jin, also a former MBC announcer, after meeting as colleagues, married in 2017. Recently, the couple drew attention as it was reported that they sold a building located in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, which they purchased jointly with Mr. A in 2017 for 2.3 billion won, for 9.6 billion won.
