"I have to pay for the meals" Choo Sung Hoon expressed his burden regarding his daughter Choo Sa-rang's allowance, bringing laughter.
On the morning of the 23rd, the production presentation for the new ENA and EBS variety show "Choo Sung Hoon's I Have to Pay for the Meals" was held at the Two IFC building in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Choo Sung Hoon, Kwak Jun-bin, Lee Eun-ji, Producer Song Joon-seop, and Producer An Je-min attended and shared their thoughts.
"Choo Sung Hoon's I Have to Pay for the Meals" is a local immersive reality survival journey in which Choo Sung Hoon, known as 'the uncle', challenges extreme jobs around the world and enjoys the fruits of his labor.
On that day, when asked if there was any reaction from his family about launching the variety program named after him, Choo Sung Hoon honestly replied, "There is no family reaction. I haven't talked about it. They wouldn't understand anyway. I only mentioned that I would go abroad."
He continued, "To be honest, on the first and second days, I talked to the PD. I said it wouldn't be just about my name. It was too much pressure, and I found it difficult to know what I should do and how to lead the two of them. I asked if we could just do 'I have to pay for the meals,' and the PD said they filmed a little bit already and it was really fun. They also said not to worry, that it would definitely go well, so I trusted that and decided to work hard. I didn't feel it was about having responsibility right from the start."
In particular, Choo Sung Hoon humorously appealed during his final remarks to conclude the presentation, saying, "My child (Choo Sa-rang) is abroad and spending an enormous amount of money," adding, "I have to work hard to earn money for her allowance. I ask for your great interest."
Meanwhile, "Choo Sung Hoon's I Have to Pay for the Meals" is set to premiere on the 26th at 7:50 p.m.
