On the 20th, Park Tae-rin appeared as a decisive witness, Jeong Min-kyu, who overturned the outcome of the lawsuit in the tvN weekend drama 'Seocho-dong' (written by Lee Seung-hyun/directed by Park Seung-woo/planned by CJ ENM Studios/produced by Chorokbaem Media).
Park Tae-rin portrayed the complex inner world of Jeong Min-kyu, who is afraid of losing his job, with a subtle emotional line, showcasing stable acting that is hard to believe for a newcomer. The confusion in his eyes, caught between the painful memories he wanted to forget and his reality, left a vivid impression on the viewers.
In 'Seocho-dong', Park Tae-rin's character, Jeong Min-kyu, is a club employee with a past of being assaulted by the club owner Lee Dong-soo (played by Heo Hyung-kyu). After learning that club DJ Kang Chang-jun (played by Lee Jeong-in) was unjustly fired while trying to help him, Jeong Min-kyu came to find Kang Hee-ji (played by Moon Ga-young) to testify, even though he knew he would lose his job.
Earlier, Jeong Min-kyu expressed his cold attitude with indifference, saying to the lawyer Ahn Joo-hyung (played by Lee Jong-suk) and Kang Hee-ji, who came to confirm the circumstances: 'I reported it by mistake,' and 'I deserved to be hit because I did something wrong. It's not a big deal that requires lawyers' help,' which aroused curiosity.
Later, when Jeong Min-kyu met with Kang Hee-ji to testify, he expressed his inner conflict by asking, 'If I testify, will I be able to keep going there? Who's asking for help?' revealing a side of the character filled with a sense of reality.
Thus, even with just a brief appearance, Park Tae-rin overwhelmed the scene with her heartfelt gaze and atmosphere. She also helped immerse viewers in the work with her determination not to fall behind while acting alongside prominent senior actors.
Previously, Park Tae-rin made an impression on viewers by portraying the childhood character of Shin Cha-il (played by Shin Ha-kyun) in tvN's 'Thank You.'
