TOMORROW X TOGETHER has launched the success signal for their 4th studio album.
According to the album sales aggregation site Hanteo Chart on the 22nd, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (subin, yeonjun, beomgyu, taehyun, hueningkai) sold a total of 1,428,097 copies of their 4th studio album "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" on its release day (21st). The new release achieved million-seller status on its first day of sales and topped the Hanteo Chart's daily physical album chart dated July 21.
The previous album "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" recorded 1,579,339 copies sold in its first week (based on the release date). This new release sold nearly the same amount in just one day.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has now held the title of consecutive million-seller for six releases. Beginning with "minisode 2: Thursday's Child," which surpassed 1 million copies sold on the second day of its release in 2022, all of the subsequent releases, including "The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION" and "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" in 2023, and "minisode 3: TOMORROW" and "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" in 2024, have also achieved million-seller status. Notably, all five albums, excluding "minisode 2: Thursday's Child," reached million-seller status on their first day of release.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER's new release is also making a mark on the music charts. The title track "Beautiful Strangers" ranked second on the Bugs real-time chart at 9 p.m. on the 21st, and by midnight on the 22nd, all eight tracks from the new release charted. On Genie, by 1 a.m. on the 22nd, all tracks were ranked, proving the album's popularity. "Beautiful Strangers" was ranked 29th on Melon's "Top 100" at midnight on the 22nd, and at the same time, all eight new songs, including the title track, charted.
It also achieved noteworthy results on global charts. "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" ranked second on the Worldwide iTunes Albums and European iTunes Albums charts on the day of its release. As of 8 a.m. on the 22nd, the new release topped the iTunes 'Top Albums' charts in 19 countries/regions, including Japan, Chile, and Hong Kong.
