On the 20th, MONSTA X officially announced their comeback on September 1st by releasing a coming soon video around the end of their 10th anniversary full concert '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X'.
The video features a grand beat and the phrase 'MONSTA X COMING SOON' repeated, while a black and white 'X' intersects, elevating the atmosphere with an increasingly rapid beat. At the end of the video, the comeback date of September 1st was specified, adding to fans' anticipation.
From the 18th to the 20th, MONSTA X showcased their explosive stage presence at '2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X' held at the Seoul KSPO DOME (formerly the Gymnastics Arena), announcing their full return while proving their overwhelming presence once again. With this comeback, they are set to complete their 10th anniversary and unveil a new page, showcasing a richer and deeper musical world. During the concert, they premiered 'Fire & Ice,' a track from the new album written by Hyungwon, which has heightened anticipation for the new album.
Earlier, on May 14, the day of their 10th anniversary, MONSTA X released the digital album 'NOW PROJECT vol.1,' completing songs announced between 2021 and 2023 that leader Shonwoo could not participate in due to military service, featuring the voices of the six members.
Notably, this album was filled with songs in which the members participated in writing, composing, and arranging, showcasing MONSTA X's identity and their musical growth. After its release, it secured the top position on the iTunes Top K-pop Music Album charts in eight countries, including the United States, France, Germany, Australia, and Brazil, demonstrating their robust global power.
