Children who have been refunded face a maximum crisis and are in a life-or-death moment.
On the 22nd (Tuesday), at 10 a.m., ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "The Defects" (directed by Oh Gi-hwan, written by Ahn So-jung, produced by Group Eight and Take One Studio) will air its second episode, where the children, including Kim Ah-hyun (played by Won Jina), struggle for their lives while being chased by Jung Hyun (Kim Jin-young, also known as Dex).
Earlier, Ah-hyun dramatically survived a crisis where she was about to become a victim of an illegal adoption organization, thanks to the help of Woo Tae-sik (played by Choi Young-jun). However, with the appearance of the newly refunded child Choi Si-woo (played by Kang Ji-yong), who shows up in front of Ah-hyun, who was hiding with the surviving children, she finds herself threatened once again. To make matters worse, her only protector, Tae-sik, encounters an unexpected accident, leaving the children with no one left to rely on.
Meanwhile, stills released today (22nd) capture the children engaged in a desperate struggle for survival and Jung Hyun, who needs to eliminate them.
In particular, the one-on-one standoff between leader Ah-hyun, who is determined to protect the children in place of the uncertainly alive Tae-sik, and Jung Hyun, raised as a human weapon, elevates the tension to the highest level. The fierce physical struggle between Ah-hyun and Jung Hyun raises curiosity about what will happen to the children and whether they can safely escape this crisis.
Meanwhile, in the second episode airing tonight at 10 p.m., the children's counterattack against the forces aiming to eliminate them, as well as shocking truths related to them, are expected to gradually surface, drawing attention.
ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama "The Defects" is also available exclusively on the OTT platform TVING.
