Singer Greg Riva Priester is going to the U.S. to see his mother.
On the 22nd, he appeared on KBS1's 'Morning Yard' in the 'Tuesday Guest' segment, where he shared various stories.
Greg said, "I first came to Korea in 2007. Before that, I worked as an English instructor and started my career in 2012," stating that he is very interested in not only soul music but also trot. He added that he has previously sung 'Shabang Shabang' on an audition program and showcased 'Sha?Shabang' and 'When this night is over' on the spot, receiving enthusiastic applause.
Greg, who came to Korea 18 years ago and never imagined becoming a singer, said, "My parents didn't believe I had become a singer, but these days, they show my picture to Korean people and ask if they know me. I'm very grateful, but it's a bit embarrassing." He expressed his gratitude by sending a video message saying, "Mom, stop it," followed by a smile, and added, "Thank you so much for your support."
Currently, to Greg, Korea is "the country that made him dream." Greg, who is busy with wedding invitations and broadcasting appearances, revealed that his mother had surgery and mentioned he would be going to the U.S. soon. Although it would be a significant loss for his agency, given the number of events during this period, the agency's representative showed his generosity by booking a first-class flight for him.
