TWICE's Jihyo has returned with limitless charm.
Jihyo's photoshoot and interview with the fashion magazine Singles for the August issue were revealed after the successful conclusion of TWICE's 6th world tour 'THIS IS FOR' at the Incheon concert.
In the photos released on the 22nd, Jihyo showcases her limitless charm with a stunning look in pink hot pants and a black top, as well as a chic all-black outfit.
In a subsequent interview, when asked about the reason for choosing the solo track 'ATM' released as part of the promotion for this album 'THIS IS FOR', she responded, "It was a track with a hip mood that I had always wanted to try. I felt it was a perfect fit when I layered melodic vocals on it." She smiled and said that her impression upon first hearing the members' solo tracks was, "Everyone wanted to do this genre; it was new and interesting."
Jihyo, known for her dedication to the recording process, stated that she spent a lot of time on the recording for this album as well. The song she focused on the most is 'MARS', and she remarked, "There were many high notes, and since I had a cold, it was particularly difficult. In the end, I kept challenging myself, saying 'I'll try again' even while recording other songs." She identified 'RIGHT HAND GIRL' as the song fans would love the most, noting, "It really comes alive when performed at concerts. I think the response will be good since it has a different mood from existing TWICE tracks."
At the end of the interview, Jihyo defined her 10 years as a trainee and the time spent as TWICE as 'gratefulness', saying, "I am always proud and thankful to be able to perform as TWICE. I want to continue to stand on stage steadily while going back and forth between the team and solo activities. I hope I can continue to interact with fans like this. It's not an easy thing, but I will work harder for that reason."
