The group TWICE has secured 6th place on the U.S. Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200'.
According to an article published on the official website by Billboard on the 20th (local time), TWICE's fourth studio album 'THIS IS FOR' released on the 11th has achieved 6th place on the 'Billboard 200' chart with a total of 80,000 units. The original song 'TAKEDOWN (JEONGYEON, JIHYO, CHAEYOUNG)' and the title track 'Strategy' from TWICE's 14th mini album are included, driving popularity while the OST album of the globally popular Netflix animation 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' also secured 5th place on the same chart.
In particular, TWICE has successfully entered the 'Billboard 200' top 10 for seven consecutive works starting from 6th place with the 10th mini album 'Taste of Love' in June 2021, followed by 3rd place with the 3rd studio album ' Formula of Love: O+T=<3', 3rd place with the 11th mini album 'BETWEEN 1&2', 2nd place with the 12th mini album 'READY TO BE', 1st place with the 13th mini album 'With YOU-th', and 4th place with the 14th mini album 'STRATEGY'. With this, they have set a new record for the most top 10 entries on the 'Billboard 200' by a K-pop girl group, reaffirming their solid presence.
The new album is richly composed with various genres and unit combinations, allowing listeners to experience TWICE's expanded musical world. TWICE kicked off their sixth world tour 'THIS IS FOR' over two days on the 19th and 20th in Incheon Inspire Arena. Following this momentum, they will meet fans in Osaka from July 26-27, Aichi from August 23-24, Fukuoka from 30-31, Tokyo from September 16-17, Macau from 27-28, Bulacan on October 4, Singapore from 11-12, Sydney from November 1-2, Melbourne on November 8-9, Kaohsiung on the 22nd, Hong Kong on December 6, and Bangkok from 13-14.
