Lee Sugeun offered words of comfort to a story participant undergoing kidney dialysis.
On the 21st, the KBS Joy variety program 'Ask Us Anything Fortune Teller' featured a participant who has been suffering from nightmares for 14 years.
The participant opened up by saying, "My sister, who passed away 14 years ago, appears in my dreams every day." He added, "It's so painful that I want to find a way to live now."
The participant is currently undergoing treatment. He, who has stage 5 chronic kidney disease, said, "I undergo dialysis. I couldn't accept that. After 6 months of dialysis, I suffered a stroke due to stress." After looking closely at the participant's face, Lee Sugeun pointed out that the left side of his face was paralyzed. With a wife about to undergo "kidney transplant surgery," Lee Sugeun also comforted the participant by saying, "That must be upsetting."
The participant said, "I have pediatric diabetes, so my vision is blurry. My right eye (is not good). The left one doesn't close properly due to the aftereffects of the stroke, so I can't see well, and the right eye has blood blocking my vision."
Seo Jang-hoon asked if the participant originally had kidney problems, and the participant confessed, "No. I was led to drinking because of my sister. My sister passed away suddenly. I lived with doubts and guilt and turned to alcohol to cope."
Lee Sugeun comforted, "What's important is that the participant was young at the time. I think your sister appearing in your dreams is to tell you not to drink alcohol. Using alcohol as an excuse just for your late sister doesn't help. You need to start cherishing yourself more and escape from the nostalgia. I believe you've done enough already."
Lee Sugeun emphasized again, "Abandon your trashy habits so far and think about your health."
