Broadcaster Ji Seok-jin will appear on 'Homes that Save You!'.
On the upcoming broadcast of MBC's variety show 'Homes that Save You!' (abbreviated 'Homes') on the 24th, Ji Seok-jin will embark on a local tour in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu.
This broadcast will feature a 'Local Tour - Suyu-dong Episode,' where viewers will join local residents on a nationwide property tour. So far, 'Homes' has garnered attention for its unique local tours with residents from various cities. This tour will be led by Ji Seok-jin, who grew up in Suyu-dong, along with his close friends Kim Soo-yong and Yang Se-chan.
Before the official tour, Ji Seok-jin, who grants in the studio, draws attention by filling in for Team Leader Park Na-rae, who went on a global tour to Georgia. With an awkward greeting of 'One, two! Save me Homes,' Ji Seok-jin admits, "In fact, I've never seen 'Homes.' I don't watch programs that I'm not a part of," which leads to teasing from the coordinators.
Ji Seok-jin reveals, "I lived in Suyu-dong from the 5th grade until before I got married," introducing himself and Yoo Jae-seok as the representatives of Suyu-dong celebrities. He explains the reason many people refer to Suyu-dong as Su-yu-ri, saying, "In the past, there was a time when it was known as Su-yu-ri in Goyang-gun. It was incorporated into Seoul in the 1950s, but many people still call it Su-yu-ri," showcasing his familiarity with the area.
Ji Seok-jin continues, "I have a keen interest in real estate. After getting married, I've moved 13 times. After finishing my daily routine, I come home and check the real estate market using Road View," drawing attention with his confession.
Yang Se-chan asks Ji Seok-jin, "You're a representative real estate expert in the entertainment industry. You're famous for having a good eye for property; what about the site for 'Homes'?" In reality, Ji Seok-jin is known to own a large house in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, which boasts a Han River view, one of the affluent areas in Seoul. To this, Ji Seok-jin responds, "The site is good. There's a reason why it's been prosperous. However, I wonder if both siblings need to be present in one program," making Yang Se-chan's brothers nervous.
Kim Soo-yong, who toured properties with Ji Seok-jin, states, "In contrast to Ji Seok-jin, I don't really like moving. I've moved just three times in my 58 years of life. There have been no moves after my newlywed house," surprising everyone. Ji Seok-jin responds, "Not moving even once during our time is a symbol of wealth," to which Kim Soo-yong replies, "It's not that I'm well-off and don't move; I'm an introvert, so I'm selective about socializing, which is why I don't move. I need to get to know a new house too."
Joo Woo-jae introduces Kim Soo-yong as a master of 'N acrostics' and asks him to create an acrostic poem for 'MBC.' In response, Kim Soo-yong states, "Our N acrostics are all for criticism, so they're fun. They might not be amusing, but I will try for the broadcast." Afterward, he completes the acrostic poem for 'MBC.' The coordinators applaud after hearing Kim Soo-yong's acrostic, expressing their admiration and raising curiosity. The broadcast will air on Thursday, the 24th, at 10 p.m.
