KCM shared about his first meeting with his 9-year-younger wife.
On the 21st, Channel A's "Best Friends Documentary: Four-Person Table" showcased the visit of Park Kyung-rim and friends Kim Tae-woo and Tim, who have known each other for 23 years, to KCM's home.
On this day, KCM revealed that he had hidden the fact that he has a daughter for 13 years, saying, "I was really financially struggling when I couldn't talk about it. I wanted to get married so quickly, but if I did, my debt would become a burden on my family."
Park Kyung-rim understood, saying, "When you register the marriage, you become a co-responsible party," and KCM recalled, "That was scary. I wanted to get married with my wife in a clean state and proudly, but it actually made things worse. To make matters worse, my work completely stopped when I returned from the military for 3 or 4 years. I wanted to solve it somehow, so during a difficult time, if someone helped me a little, more bad things happened."
In response, Park Kyung-rim asked, "Did you get scammed?" and KCM admitted, "I was scammed in my name. I honestly didn't know what joint guarantee was. But since I was the one taking the biggest responsibility, all the arrows came at me, and it was really tough."
Kim Tae-woo empathized, saying, "Many entertainers have these experiences," and KCM shared, "When you don't have money, it's hard to borrow even 10,000 won. I felt that the most during that time. The closer the person is, the harder it is to talk about it."
Then Kim Tae-woo commented, "People usually don't think it's financially tough," and Park Kyung-rim added that he couldn't even imagine it, saying, "There's also the worth of the name." KCM explained, "So even now, I am not throwing away those records. It was a very tough time, but Tae-woo doesn't know. Though he looks strong, isn't he delicate? When I said I was having a hard time, I thought he would go around talking to help me, so I couldn't talk about it immediately at that time."
Kim Tae-woo, feeling upset, said, "I didn't know it was this tough," and KCM responded, "It miraculously got resolved. At the time of resolution, we registered the marriage and shortly after, welcomed our second child. My wife and I cried a lot. Honestly, I wanted to talk about the second child, but I couldn't even talk about the first, so I was scared to bring it up. To hold the wedding, I thought we should talk honestly and comfortably, so I was prepared to receive a big reprimand. It's personal, but over 12 or 13 years, wasn't I cowardly? I thought it was cowardly," he added with regret.
In particular, Park Kyung-rim asked, "How did you meet your wife?" KCM replied, "We met through an introduction. My wife was originally working as a model in Japan. After saying she wanted to work in Korea, she was actually a relative of my friend. I said, 'A friend is a famous singer in Korea, so I'll ask him about the Korean company.' That's how we met." Park Kyung-rim commented, "I've heard she's really pretty," and Kim Tae-woo nodded, saying, "She is really pretty."
KCM also said, "She is really beautiful. I never thought she would be interested in me. She is really beautiful. I thought that and told my friend to let me meet her one more time. After meeting a couple of times and having various conversations, my mother-in-law saw me on 'Star Golden Bell' and told my wife, 'You should marry someone like him.' After hearing that, I gained courage and asked her out. I thought it was somewhat of a signal, so I actively pursued it from then on."
Park Kyung-rim then asked, "When you went to greet her, how was your mother-in-law's reaction?" KCM responded, "She liked me. I thought it was a joke, but she really liked me. She said I seemed kind. I think that was destiny. Even going through the toughest times together seems like fate to me. I feel sorry and grateful."
Meanwhile, KCM unexpectedly revealed his marriage to his 9-year-younger wife in January 2022. Furthermore, it was recently revealed that he has two daughters, causing a shock. On the 8th of this month, he announced his wife's pregnancy with their third child, receiving much congratulations.
