'Colorful Days' released a group poster that contains various personalities and colors of the characters.
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama 'Colorful Days' (directed by Kim Hyung-seok, written by So Hyun-kyung) tells a family melodrama story of generational empathy about colorful days, which everyone experiences at different times—now, in the past, and in the future.
The group poster published on the 22nd (today) features a total of 15 actors who will lead the drama, including Jung Il-woo (in the role of Lee Ji-hyuk), Jung In-sun (in the role of Ji Eun-oh), Yoon Hyun-min (in the role of Park Sung-jae), Chun Ho-jin (in the role of Lee Sang-cheol), Lee Tae-ran (in the role of Ko Sung-hee), Ban Hyo-jung (in the role of Jo Ok-rye), Yoon Joo-sang (in the role of Kim Jang-soo), Kim Hee-jung (in the role of Kim Da-jung), Park Sung-keun (in the role of Park Jin-seok), Kim Jeong-young (in the role of Jeong Soon-hee), Shin Soo-hyun (in the role of Lee Soo-bin), Son Sang-yeon (in the role of Lee Ji-wan), Park Jeong-yeon (in the role of Park Young-ra), Yang Hyuk (in the role of Ji Kang-oh), and Kim Jun-ho (in the role of Han Woo-jin).
Each character in the poster showcases their individuality through color backgrounds and styling that reflect their personalities, capturing attention. The bright and refreshing blue tone for Jung Il-woo, the vibrant yellow for Jung In-sun, the deep-striped shirt of Yoon Hyun-min, the warm orange tones of Chun Ho-jin and Kim Hee-jung, the elegant red of Lee Tae-ran, the lovely purple and lavender tones of Ban Hyo-jung, Yoon Joo-sang, Shin Soo-hyun, Son Sang-yeon, the subtle pinks of Park Sung-keun, Park Jeong-yeon, Kim Jun-ho, and the classic mint of Kim Jeong-young and Yang Hyuk's hats suggest relationships and emotions through colors and poses alone.
The oil painting-like textures of the background and the warm expressions and relaxed poses of the actors symbolize the joys and sorrows of each character, capturing the essence of the drama. In particular, the contrasting energies of Jung Il-woo and Jung In-sun as a couple, the chemistry of Chun Ho-jin and Kim Hee-jung as a married couple, the three generations of family dynamics including Ban Hyo-jung, Yoon Joo-sang, Son Sang-yeon, Shin Soo-hyun, the urban aura of Lee Tae-ran and Yoon Hyun-min, as well as the realistic hat atmosphere of Kim Jeong-young and Yang Hyuk stimulate curiosity about the intricately intertwined character relationships.
The production team noted, "This group poster visually encapsulates the emotions of joys and sorrows that the characters will create in the drama," adding, "Please look forward to the 'Colorful Days' that the 15 characters will weave in various ways."
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama 'Colorful Days' will premiere on August 9 (Saturday) at 8 p.m. as a follow-up to 'For Eagle Brothers.'
