TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Soobin has transformed into a weathercaster.
On the 22nd, a YTN news broadcast featured Soobin from TOMORROW X TOGETHER as he took on the role of a daily weathercaster, reporting the weather of the day.
On this day, Soobin appeared in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, along with weathercaster Lee Hye-min, attempting to report the weather live from the scene. Soobin greeted viewers by saying, "I am YTN's daily weathercaster, TOMORROW X TOGETHER's Soobin, who came to convey comfort and support to those who are having a tough summer due to heavy rain and heat."
He went on to explain, "As soon as the unprecedented torrential rain ended, the weather became really hot. I came out briefly before the broadcast and, as the saying goes, it feels like a sauna; I am sweating and it is tough. In Seoul, the temperature has risen to 32 degrees under a heat advisory." Notably, Soobin held up melted ice water, saying, "Before coming out to report the weather, I had frozen water, but it melted like this in just 30 minutes before the broadcast."
In addition, Soobin urged caution regarding the risks of heat-related illnesses and heat strokes, as well as food poisoning, while conveying a message to the flood recovery site. Soobin stated, "Recently, we resumed activities under the theme 'together.' When we truly empathize with each other, we can call each other's names, and through this, we can save each other and the world. This album contains that story, and many people suffered significant damage due to heavy rain last week."
He added, "Moreover, recovery efforts are still in full swing, so I hope this song can be a small gift of comfort to those who are overcoming difficult times," and even surprised viewers with a demonstration of the choreography for the title track, "Beautiful Strangers."
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, which includes Soobin, released their 4th studio album, 'Star's Page: TOGETHER' on the 21st.
