'HyungSooda' returns with season 2, fueled by the success of season 1.
The new season of the E Channel original web entertainment 'HyungSooda' will be premiered on the YouTube channel 'Detectives' Chatter' on the 25th. 'HyungSooda' is a digital spin-off web entertainment that expands the universe of the representative entertainment program 'Brave Detectives' from Tcast E Channel.
'HyungSooda Season 2' (hereafter 'HyungSooda 2') will feature the profiler Kwon Il-yong, who led season 1, along with actor Lee Yi-kyung joining as a new MC. The guest for the first episode will be singer and actress Jeon Hyo-sung. Lee Yi-kyung and Jeon Hyo-sung, known as 'close friends,' will appear together in the first episode of 'HyungSooda 2', showcasing their loyalty.
'HyungSooda' gained a hot response, surpassing 4 million views on YouTube (as of July 19, 4,038,084 views), providing insights into the cases that were not revealed on the main broadcast, including the behind-the-scenes stories of investigations and candid chats among the detectives. It attracted attention with diverse content, ranging from hidden stories of major cases to the investigation jinxes of detectives and the status of cold cases.
The new season 2 is expected to feature behind-the-scenes stories of real cases, honest tales from detectives, and upgraded new segments, drawing anticipation from viewers.
The cheerful teaser video released alongside the launch news of season 2 has also generated buzz. The released teaser video captures the filming scene of 'Brave Detectives 4' under the theme 'Kwon Il-yong's Partner Profiling.' In the video, Kwon Il-yong reveals his true feelings about the MCs of 'Brave Detectives 4,' including Kim Sun-young and Ahn Jung-hwan. Regarding Kim Sun-young, he says, "I heard Sun-young has been busy with many schedules lately. There's no need to bring it up and make her worry unnecessarily," and about Ahn Jung-hwan, he states, "Jung-hwan has such a distinctive character that I might get overshadowed being next to him," eliciting laughter.
Kwon Il-yong then looks at Lee Yi-kyung and reveals his pleasant thoughts: "Lee Yi-kyung usually elevates me a lot. He conveys the cases nicely while doing 'Yong-Hyung', so he would be just right as my right-hand man." He then surprises everyone by pulling Lee Yi-kyung somewhere.
