In 'My Kid's Private Life,' Do Kyung-wan experienced humiliation from AI.
On the 20th, the ENA entertainment program 'My Kid's Private Life' (hereinafter 'My Life') aired the travel adventures of siblings Yeon-woo and Ha-young, who traveled to Hong Kong with friends without adults.
On that day, the siblings were joined by Yeon-woo's childhood friend and only female friend Ye-ha, Ye-ha's brother and Ha-young's friend Seo-ha, and Jaewon, a friend of Yeon-woo's for seven years since kindergarten, as they embarked on a friendship trip to Hong Kong without their parents.
Lee Jaewon noted, in response to the question, 'When did you first meet Yeon-woo?' that he first met Yeon-woo when they played together while attending English kindergarten.
Before embarking on their journey, the kids who gathered checked their necessary supplies. Jaewon, who also had a planning style akin to Yeon-woo, surprised everyone by saying, 'You have to watch it like stocks,' as he had researched the pros and cons of Hong Kong's attractions and the exchange rate.
Yeon-woo attempted to investigate using AI. Before asking questions about Hong Kong, he said, 'These days, AI rules everything. Should I ask AI?' and proceeded to inquire about his father Do Kyung-wan.
At first, when AI recognized Do Kyung-wan as 'Doo Kyung-wan,' they were frustrated. Ye-ha explained each letter of 'Do Kyung-wan,' and AI finally understood, defining him as, 'Yeah, I know. Do Kyung-wan, husband of Jang Yoon-jung from K Broadcasting Corporation. A quiet powerhouse in the reality parenting arena. I know that much.'
In the studio, Do Kyung-wan reacted, saying, 'Wait a minute, my job is Jang Yoon-jung's husband, not a broadcaster.' To this, Lee Hyun added, 'And there's more, a powerhouse in the parenting community,' and Jang Yoon-jung laughed and remarked, 'That's also quiet. This is why AI does what it does.'
The children starting their first trip without their parents were unable to hide their confusion upon arriving at Hong Kong airport. Jaewon expressed, 'I was a bit nervous because I didn't know what would happen in front of me,' while Ye-ha shared, 'I was worried if I could do well when I saw many people and the spacious airport.' In contrast, Ha-young brightly replied, 'I wasn't scared because my older brothers and sisters were with me,' causing laughter.
Yeon-woo calmly led his friends, saying, 'Guys, let's exchange currency first.' He stated in an interview, 'If I panicked, I thought my friends would panic too, so I did as much as I could.'
However, when Yeon-woo stood in front of the ATM to exchange currency, he faced a crisis as he could not remember his password. After getting it wrong twice in a row, Jang Yoon-jung asked, 'Won't it get blocked if you keep trying?' and Do Kyung-wan expressed concern, saying, 'If you get it wrong three times, you won't be able to use it.'
Before his last chance, Yeon-woo called his father for help. Fortunately, he successfully exchanged currency at the ATM, and Ye-ha, responsible for finances, began managing the money.
Jaewon, who learned English before Korean since childhood, demonstrated his proficiency in English by finding out about Octopus Cards and the subway transfer routes. Yeon-woo also calmly indicated which lines to transfer to in the complex Hong Kong station, with a staggering four lines overlapping.
Meanwhile, Yeon-woo attracted attention as he expressed his brotherly affection, asking Ha-young, who followed along well despite the difficult journey, 'Are you okay? Thanks for following along so well.'
