Singer KCM candidly revealed the reasons he had to hide his two daughters.
On the broadcast of Channel A's 'Close Friends Documentary: Four-Person Table' aired on the 21st, scenes of 박경림 visiting KCM's house alongside his longtime friend 김태우 and their team were depicted.
That day, 박경림, who visited KCM's house, mentioned, "태우, the child's birth and marriage were all publicly disclosed, and I knew in advance, but I recently learned about KCM. I found out recently through an article. Did friends already know about it?" referring to the late revelation of the two daughters.
김태우 said, "I had no idea," adding, "When I looked it up in an article, I found out that the day before he called me, that article came out. I didn't see that article. We have five really close friends. We've been close for 23 years. He suddenly called me while out during the day. He said, '태우, don't be surprised, but I have two hidden daughters.' I was walking with my manager while taking the call, and I stopped. What? At that moment, I thought, does he have another wife? That's what I thought. An illegitimate child. But I thought he wasn't wealthy enough to do something like that."
KCM clarified, "I knew everything," and 김태우 expressed, "Is that so? Everyone except me knew? How could you not invite them? Four of us coming together would make it perfect for a four-person table," feeling hurt. To this, KCM replied, "I know 태우 very well. He tends to talk a lot," emphasizing that "if we talk a bit more, you'll understand everything."
Later, KCM prepared and served dishes like tteokbokki, sashimi, and spicy fish stew. During this time, the conversation shifted to KCM's signature 팔토시 fashion, and 박경림 asked, "What do your daughters think when they see their dad's fashion terrorist look?" KCM replied, "When I seriously do something like 'Hello, Harmonica,' they change the channel when they see me on TV. They wish I wouldn't dress like that. No matter what, I wanted to resolve it, so when they did something nice for me, I relied on them, which led to more bad things happening during that time," revealing his regrets of being scammed in his name. "Honestly, I didn't know what a joint guarantee was. I ended up being the most responsible, and all the arrows of blame came at me, which was very difficult for me."
He stated, "When I had no money, borrowing even 10,000 won was difficult. I felt that the most at that time. The closer I was to someone, the harder it was to speak up." 김태우 replied, "Generally, people don't think of you as being financially struggling." KCM added, "That's why I'm still keeping that record. 박경림 expressed, "If there hadn't been any interaction all this time, I wouldn't know, but we continued to see each other," showing disappointment, while 김태우 revealed, "What surprised me is that our first child and KCM's first child were born on the same day. I just found out recently that their birth dates are the same." 박경림 replied, "When we meet, I'll show you the kids' photos and share everything," and 김태우 added, "I regret getting angry because I was thinking the same way. 박경림 asked, "So do you now take your daughter to school?" and KCM replied, "I take them to school and if I have time, we go out to play together. Honestly, these days, every day is exciting for me." 박경림 asked, "Since the kids are in middle school, aren't they going through a sensitive phase, starting their adolescence?"
