Home Alone topped the 2049 viewer ratings for all genres in the third week of July 2025.
The July 18 broadcast of 'Home Alone' (directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, Moon Ki-young) revealed Kian84's (Kian84) (?) summer activities and Red Velvet's Joy visiting her younger brother's newlywed home.
According to the audience measurement company Nielsen Korea, 'Home Alone' achieved a core 2049 rating of 3.9% (based on the capital region), securing the top spot among all programs that aired on Friday and ranking first among all programs aired during the past week.
The most popular moment went to Kian84, who shared a tip on memorizing words using 'Kian-style associations,' and the sketch depicting a meeting with his idol, Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito, alongside Kangnam, generated laughter and pushed the ratings up to a peak of 7.4%.
Kian84 showcased his summer life, displaying a carefree spirit while doing laundry with bleach, and enjoyed 'Hontobam' while taking water sprays with his shirt off, grabbing attention with his Kian-like demeanor. Scenes of him welcoming Kangnam, a 'founding member of the Rainbow,' were also shown, with the pair's similar yet distinct charms creating a delightful synergy.
Meanwhile, Red Velvet's Joy started her morning exercise with a new management item. She subsequently visited her younger brother and his wife's newlywed home, bringing prepared housewarming gifts and embodying the traits of a 'K-style eldest daughter.' Viewers were moved by Joy's abundant love for her younger brother and expressed their support and empathy.
Joy is currently in a public relationship with singer Crush.
