Actor Namkoong Min shared his feelings about the conclusion of the drama "Our Movie."
Namkoong Min played the role of director Lee Jeha, who has no future, in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Our Movie" (directed by Lee Jung-heum, written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min), which ended on the 19th, showcasing his delicate and profound acting skills as a central figure in the story.
Namkoong Min expressed his thoughts through his agency 935 Entertainment, saying, "It was a precious time spent with good people, and while acting as Lee Jeha, I felt and learned a lot. Since this is a work created with sincerity, I would like to sincerely thank the viewers who stayed with us until the end."
He recalled the most memorable moment as the last filming day, saying, "We shot the first and last scene in the same location. The warm sunlight and the ginkgo tree scenery from that day remain particularly in my heart. I think the time spent with the director, actors, and staff will also be remembered for a long time."
In conclusion, he extended his gratitude to everyone who loved "Our Movie," saying, "I hope this work remains warmly in your hearts for a long time. I will greet you with another good work next time."
Namkoong Min portrayed the lethargy of Lee Jeha, caught in a sophomore jinx, as well as the director's tenacity in protecting the film, drawing out minute emotional changes and maintaining a high level of immersion. In particular, the poignant romance with Lee Da-eum (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) touched the hearts of viewers and provided deep emotion.
Having previously proven a wide spectrum across genres through numerous works, Namkoong Min showcased another transformation in his acting through "Our Movie," achieving a successful conclusion. His calm and lingering presence in this authentic melodrama draws attention to his future acting endeavors.
