Singer ReiNa, a former member of After School, has expressed her pain from ongoing privacy invasions by obsessive fans.
ReiNa wrote on her social media (SNS) on the 21st, "I don't want to say this, but I will block accounts for delusions and similar relationships from now on." She noted, "What I am talking about now is regarding those who go beyond support and fandom," adding, "I want to think of it as a heart of support, but if I just leave it alone, you'll make your own delusions about me and speak as if it were true."
ReiNa said, "There were countless delusional messages, like imagining specifically that my name is on my spouse's family certificate and so on," and "Some people, who became more intense in their delusions, came to me with letters containing their numbers and flowers, while others have even come to my house, prompting me to move urgently."
ReiNa has also stopped receiving gifts. She explained, "The reason I don't receive gifts besides letters was because I said, 'I'm fine buying everything I need myself,' but there was also a reason that I wanted to block it because those people try to express more by giving gifts," adding, "I felt sorry that I ended up rejecting even the gifts from those who support me purely."
ReiNa is currently active alone without an agency. She stated, "I think it may have intensified since I started working offline and easily faced some people without a company. About two years ago, I even told some of the more intense ones, 'If you continue to cross the line, I will report you,' but it keeps happening," adding, "Just because it's a visible profession doesn't mean I have to accept one-sided delusions and overstepped expressions. Please try to live in reality."
ReiNa debuted in 2009 with After School. She also participated in the unit ORANGE CARAMEL, and is currently active as a solo artist.
