The story of actor Lim Chae-moo's remarriage has been revealed.
On the 20th, KBS2's 'Boss's ears are donkey ears' featured Park Myung-soo, Yewon, and announcer Kim Jin-woong visiting the Duriland operated by Lim Chae-moo.
On that day's broadcast, Lim Chae-moo's wife, Kim So-yeon, made a surprise appearance. Lim Chae-moo previously married the late voice actress Park In-sook and had a son and a daughter, but he experienced the pain of bereavement after Park In-sook passed away from bile duct cancer in 2015 at the age of 59.
Meanwhile, Lim Chae-moo remarried Kim So-yeon, who is nine years younger, after being introduced by a friend in 2016. He explained that he decided to remarry while dyeing his hair, saying, "I have a lot of gray hair. When I was dyeing it, my friends said, 'The back is not dyed.' I thought I need to dye the back too, but the dye was all gone. I thought it wouldn't work alone, so I decided to remarry."
Observing this, Lee Yong-sik noted, "Your sister-in-law passed away due to illness. Seeing you being alone, I felt really sorry and wished someone amongst us would show up; I thought it would be nice if someone was watching over you."
Park Myung-soo asked Lim Chae-moo what he found attractive about his remarried wife, to which Lim Chae-moo replied, "She's pretty," showcasing a somewhat goofy side. Park Myung-soo then asked, "Did you fall for her at first sight?" Lim Chae-moo said, "I saw her and thought, 'Okay, let's go for it.' After the amusement park, it was late—around 9 or 10 p.m. It was our first meeting, and I suggested we have a meal. When I looked for a place to eat, I found nothing. There was a kimbap shop, so we decided to eat kimbap for our first meeting, then I said, 'Let's get along well' and just started living together."
Upon hearing this, announcer Eom Ji-in was surprised, asking, "Is that all?" Kim Sook was also shocked, saying, "You lived like that?" Lee Yong-sik explained, "That's Lim Chae-moo's style," and Park Myung-soo asked, "Can't you at least buy her flowers?" To this, Lim Chae-moo honestly revealed, "He has never bought flowers for me. It's not that I dislike it, I just don't like pretenses."
As Lim Chae-moo's wife, Kim So-yeon, was present, Yewon bluntly asked, "Is there anything you feel upset about?" Lim Chae-moo hinted, "If you don't want to cry tonight, be careful with your words," and Kim So-yeon immediately responded, "I have nothing to be upset about." Yewon mentioned, "I heard you spent time homeless in the restroom," referring to the time when Lim Chae-moo faced difficulties and sold his apartment in Yeouido, staying overnight at the amusement park.
Lim Chae-moo explained, "I cleaned the swimming pool shower room and bought two military beds to sleep on." Park Myung-soo asked, "Did your family see that and say nothing?" to which Lim Chae-moo replied that only the two of them knew. When asked by Kim So-yeon if it was okay, she responded positively, saying, "I lived in Seoul before moving to Yangju, and the weather is nice, with beautiful cosmos by the railway. After going through a tough time and now, looking at how well it's turned out, I can even meet Park Myung-soo."
Park Myung-soo expressed curiosity, asking, "Did you not know about all this debt?" Kim So-yeon replied, "No. I learned at that time that we had no money after tearing everything down here. I didn't know anything." Furthermore, when asked if she received a proposal, she revealed, "He hasn't given me anything."
When he asked, "Then why did you live together?" Lim Chae-moo explained, "I felt like I wanted to fall from the 23rd floor and die when I drank. This thought arose after losing my spouse. My heart was aching." He continued, noting, "But shouldn't he have proposed?" to which he confessed, "I didn't. I asked for just one flower but have never been given one in the ten years."

Meanwhile, Kim Jin-woong shared his concerns, asking, "How should I get married?" Lim Chae-moo emphasized, "The condition for marriage is to have a woman who can absolutely comply when her husband speaks. The same goes for men. Love is about consideration," to which Park Myung-soo nodded in agreement, saying, "It means to meet someone with good character."
