Singer Jeon Hyo-seong revealed that she was a candidate for a new member of the Wonder Girls alongside Yubin.
On the 19th, a video titled 'Almost becoming a legend group, the re-debut of the girl group called OSO? | Yubin's Spoo Ittur EP03. Yang Ji-won Jeon Hyo-seong' was uploaded on Yubin's YouTube channel, Spoo Ittur.
The video released that day featured Yubin, Jeon Hyo-seong, and Yang Ji-won, who had prepared for their debut in a group called OSO, meeting to reminisce about that time.
Yubin recalled, "It's so funny to be remembered as OSO. I was trying but then the debut fell through because the company was struggling," and added, "And then starting with me, we ended up scattering like this."
Jeon Hyo-seong explained, "The older sister went first, and then Yuyin went, and (Ji-won) sister left, leaving me all alone, and then I received a call from Secret and went with Secret."
Yang Ji-won laughed and said, "Why is everyone suddenly losing their energy?" Yubin replied, "That was a somewhat difficult time, when we were young and preparing together, and it fell through."
Jeon Hyo-seong said, "I was in my third year of high school at that time, so I thought I was going crazy," and Yubin expressed her regret, saying, "I also felt really sorry at that time. The company sent me off with good intentions. I was grateful that they understood me."
Jeon Hyo-seong revealed, "I later heard that it was me and my sister in the candidate list for the Wonder Girls. They said there were originally two candidates."
In response, Yubin said, "That's what I heard. They chose from watching the video, the dance practice video of our OSO. I think it was because you and I had similar heights."
Jeon Hyo-seong agreed, saying, "Right. It was just right that we could fit well, and if we wore heels, we could adjust it," and Yang Ji-won explained, "No. It was a bit of JYP's vibe."
Yubin confessed, "At that time, I didn't have JYP's vibe. Now I've spent a lot of time there. But I never thought I would end up at JYP. Honestly, I've never thought about wanting to join JYP. I think this is the first time I'm saying it, but I wanted to go to SM and YG, I never considered JYP."
