The group ILLIT is showcasing their passion and effort to create a perfect stage.
Recently, the music show stage for ILLIT's (Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) mini album 3rd track "bomb" follow-up song "jellyous" is gaining word of mouth among K-pop fans. The members revealed a more mature side by demonstrating their stable live performance skills amidst the nonstop high-level performances.
Behind the high-quality stage is the hidden effort of ILLIT. In a behind-the-scenes video of "jellyous" uploaded on their team YouTube channel the day before (18th), the members were dedicated to their singing while running on treadmills. It was a vocal training session where they maintained their vocalization while executing dynamic choreography. The previously released dance practice video showed them matching their footwork without a single mistake, demonstrating their proficiency in controlling strength and weakness in their movements.
ILLIT also proved their remarkable skills through the activities of the title track "Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)." In the recording behind-the-scenes video, they captivated viewers by expressing emotions delicately according to variations of the song and quickly absorbing the vocal direction from the producer. Wonhee, who was responsible for the French lyrics, was meticulous about every single pronunciation and was recognized by native speakers.
Thanks to their painstaking practice and passion, various stage videos of ILLIT have been highlighted. Global fans praised them with comments like, "ILLIT visibly develops with every album," "Seeing the rehearsal scenes, now I understand why their performances are perfect," and "Their effort is professional."
Global achievements also followed. They entered the mini album "bomb" into the U.S. Billboard 200, marking a significant milestone by placing all of their albums released since their debut on this chart. Additionally, the title track "Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)" has been consistently climbing the music chart rankings a month after its release.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will perform the stage for "jellyous" today (19th) on MBC's "Show! Music Core." Following this, Yoona, Mocha, and Wonhee will appear tomorrow (20th) on SBS Power FM's "Park So-hyun's Love Game" to share their cheerful energy.
