Actors Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun have donated 10 million won to help flood victims.
Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 19th that actors Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun have donated 10 million won to assist those affected by the heavy rainfall.
Hope Bridge is the only legally recognized relief organization that can distribute funds for domestic natural disaster relief.
The couple, Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun, said, "We hope this small contribution, gathered as a thankfulness offering, reaches neighbors in need."
Shin Hoon, Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed deep gratitude for the couple's warm contribution for flood-affected neighbors, stating, "Hope Bridge will do its best to ensure that this sentiment is well conveyed to the impacted communities."
Donations to help neighbors affected by this rainfall can be made through online fundraising platforms like Naver Happy Bean and Kakao, and detailed information is available on the Hope Bridge website.
Meanwhile, Hope Bridge has established a system based on disaster relief logistics centers in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, and Hamyang, Gyeongnam Province, so that relief supplies can be swiftly dispatched and delivered anywhere in the country when a disaster occurs.
Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a disaster relief fundraising special institution established in 1961 by national media outlets and civic organizations. In the event of a disaster, it carries out various relief activities, including emergency support, fundraising and distribution of contributions, community recovery, and support for vulnerable populations, and takes the lead in rapidly supporting necessary material resources.
