A controversy surrounding a Yeosu restaurant intensified after a travel YouTuber revealed that she was met with unkind service after ordering two dishes because the restaurant does not accept solo customers. The YouTuber shared the owner's statement, "It's not just one lady coming. If it continues like this, it will be indefinite," along with an emotional review, which sparked heated outrage online.

On the 18th, the YouTube channel 'Studio Sujae' announced in the community that it had directly met with the parties involved in Yeosu, stating, "We will reveal it tomorrow at 6:30 p.m.," alongside a photo of Pungja seriously discussing with a woman. Pungja's expression of nodding in silence while listening shows how seriously he is taking this matter.
As a result, internet users are responding with comments like, "Does this mean the Yeosu episode will also be edited out like the An Yang episode?", "The fact that Pungja met with them indicates that the production team recognized the seriousness of the situation", and "As expected of Pungja, not just words but actions too. Lee Seok-joo, a Yeosu city councilor, posted on social media on the 17th, stating, "Yeosu city has conducted administrative guidance on restaurant service responses," and noted that letters requesting improvements in service courtesy were sent to restaurant operators and staff. It is reported that the city plans to directly visit the controversial restaurant to provide service training. The councilor added, "In terms of attracting tourists and revitalizing the local economy, the responsiveness and service quality of restaurants are very important factors" and urged them to refrain from loud responses that could cause discomfort and to avoid limiting solo customers.
