Red Velvet's Joy showed her caring side as the eldest daughter.
On the 18th episode of MBC's 'Home Alone', Red Velvet's Joy visited her younger sister's newlywed home.
Joy mentioned that there were many pieces of furniture and various items in her sister's house that she had used. Joy said, "I told them I would buy new things, but they all refused," looking appreciatively at her mature sister and brother-in-law.
That day, Joy went out for a walk with her sister, who showed tears of gratitude and remorse towards her sister Joy. Joy confessed that as the eldest daughter, she has always taken care of her younger siblings and set a good example for them.
Joy said, "I have been thinking a lot about where to set the boundary on how much to help. I said I would provide the major appliances, but my sister refused everything. She said she was grateful that she took everything usable and that it eased her worries about the wedding expenses, which was enough for her, and I felt thankful."
Joy said, "My sister is so nice that she even cries when she sees my bad comments," and added, "I supported her with all her college tuition," showing her reliable side as an older sister.
On that day, Joy's brother-in-law prepared a meal himself while Joy and her sister went out for a walk. The brother-in-law considered Joy, who is on a diet, in deciding the menu, drawing attention. He also displayed a thoughtful and caring demeanor while making sure to take care of his wife.
Joy said, "My brother-in-law has already brought the congratulatory necklace," adding, "I only eat instant rice at home. These days, there are hardly any houses with a rice cooker, so it's moving to see someone cook rice like that for me."
Joy said, "My sister is the kindest and gentlest among the three sisters. She is the sister I rely on the most. I hope she is happier than anyone else. I feel like she is another part of me."
