"In Immortal Songs," Lee Chan-won promises to gift a song to Lee Ji-hoon.
Today (19th), the KBS 2TV entertainment program "Immortal Songs" will air its 715th episode, titled "Artist Late Hyun-cheol & Song Dae-kwan Part 2."
On this day, Lee Ji-hoon expresses his gratitude for expanding the scope of his activities into musical casting thanks to his appearance on "Immortal Songs." Lee Ji-hoon says, "After the 'Immortal Duet Special,' I was cast in the musical 'Dream High,'" revealing his recent situation. MC Kim Jun-hyeon adds, "Earlier, wasn't your casting in the musical 'Notre Dame de Paris' also after your performance on 'Immortal'?" To this, Lee Ji-hoon replies, "That's right. In response, MC Lee Chan-won humorously adds, "You are still a trot trainee, so are you officially debuting today?" Lee Ji-hoon replies, "If you, Senior Chan-won, say that, I feel like I might receive a great song," sharing a light-hearted moment. Kim Jun-hyeon joins in, saying, "If you officially debut, I'll lend you a glittery outfit from the KBS costume department," to which Lee Ji-hoon expresses his gratitude, saying, "It's typical of 'Immortal Songs' to give dreams and hope," as he is reportedly moved.
Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hoon conveys his sincere feelings about the stage as a newcomer to trot. He states, "I have been thinking about what can allow me to be loved for a long time while actively pursuing my career, and it turns out there is no genre that receives as much love for a long time as trot does," adding, "I wanted to show my daughter the image of a father who continues to take on new challenges," which touches everyone in the talk room.
In fact, Lee Ji-hoon demonstrates extraordinary paternal love. Married to Ayane from Japan, he became a parent after welcoming a healthy daughter last year. Recently, he garnered attention for hosting a grand first birthday party for his daughter.
