Actress Lee Seol expressed her feelings on the conclusion of the drama "Our Movie."
Lee Seol played the role of top star Chae Seo-young in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Our Movie" (written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min / directed by Lee Jung-heum), portraying not only a professional demeanor and charisma but also a complex inner turmoil amid an emotional whirlpool, firmly supporting the center of the story.
In the presence of her past scandal counterpart, film director Lee Je-ha (portrayed by Namkoong Min), and junior actor Lee Da-eum (portrayed by Jeon Yeo-bin), the honesty of Seo-young, who does not hide her emotions, heightened the immersion in the latter part of the drama. Lee Seol's performance, having grown together with the character, left a lasting impression on the viewers.
Lee Seol said, "I sincerely thank everyone who watched 'Our Movie.' I hope the warmth of the work was conveyed to you as well." She added, "When I later realized that a wonderful bookstore I happened to visit during filming in Gangwon-do was the set of 'Our Movie,' I was deeply impressed by the details of the staff."
Finally, Lee Seol expressed her affection for the work, saying, "I learned the brilliance of life from Lee Da-eum, the courage to love while knowing the end from Lee Je-ha, and the beauty of believing in oneself in any situation from Chae Seo-young. I sincerely thank you for watching 'Our Movie' until the end."
Lee Seol convincingly completed Chae Seo-young's narrative with her emotional acting, intense gaze, and flexible control of pace that she built layer by layer from the first episode. With this work, she proved her acting skills and spectrum once again, drawing intense interest in her next steps.
Meanwhile, the final episode of "Our Movie" will air today (19th) at 9:50 p.m. on SBS, and Lee Seol will continue her activities on stage through the play "The Effect."
