Singer and actress Kim Se-jeong made a generous donation to help flood victims.
On the 19th, the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced that actress and singer Kim Se-jeong donated 10 million won to assist flood victims affected by heavy rainfall. Hope Bridge is the only legal relief organization in the country able to distribute aid for natural disaster victims.
Kim Se-jeong is a member of the 'Hope Bridge Honours Club', a group of major donors, and has continued to donate for various disasters, including floods and wildfires. Including this donation, her total contributions through Hope Bridge have reached 1.2 billion won.
Kim Se-jeong said, "I thought the affected neighbors must be going through a hard time, so I wanted to contribute, even just a little," and added, "I hope there are no more significant damages."
Shin Hoon, the secretary-general of Hope Bridge, expressed gratitude, saying, "We deeply appreciate the warm support from donor Kim Se-jeong for the flood victims," and added, "Hope Bridge will do its best to ensure that this kindness reaches the affected neighbors."
