Former announcer and broadcaster Park Eun-young has announced the gender of her second pregnancy, joining the ranks of "daughter moms."
On the 18th, a video titled "Finally revealing the gender of the second child! The scene of the gender reveal party full of genuine reactions" was uploaded to Park Eun-young's YouTube channel "Anamoruna Park Eun-young."
In the video, Park Eun-young said, "I went to the hospital this morning. I finally received the NIPT test results," and added, "Because of my first child, Beom-jun, I haven't been able to focus on prenatal education, but the second child is growing very well. I'm 12 weeks along, and the body length is 6 cm. I was worried because of my advanced maternal age, but the test results came out fine, so I feel relieved."
Holding the NIPT test sheet with the gender written on it, Park Eun-young said, "These days, the results also include the gender right away, but I intentionally covered it. Friends decided to hold a gender reveal party to say, 'You're struggling with advanced maternal age,' so I first handed the results to Robin mom. Other people found out before I did, but I'll try to patiently wait."
The next day, Park Eun-young attended a surprise gender reveal party organized by friends without knowing the gender. At the party, she expressed her anticipation, saying, "I'm glad to have a son, but this time I have a strong feeling it will be a daughter." Finally, after removing the blindfold, she discovered pink paint and exclaimed, "Indeed! It was a daughter!"
Friends congratulated her, saying, "Welcome to the hell," "I hope you become friends like mother and daughter," and "Let's have another party if you have a third child," to which Park Eun-young replied, "I might die then," eliciting laughter.
Park Eun-young expressed her hopes for her second daughter, stating, "Beom-jun looks so much like his father. I hope my genes will be more prominent this time." She then vowed, "As much as you've congratulated me, I will raise her healthily and beautifully."
Meanwhile, Park Eun-young married businessman Kim Hyung-woo, who is three years younger, in 2019 and has a son, Beom-jun. Since joining KBS as a newscaster in 2007, she has been active in various fields, from entertainment programs like "Challenge Golden Bell," "Crisis Escape Number One," "Entertainment Relay," and "Vitamin," to the news.
Since leaving KBS in 2020, she has actively communicated by sharing her daily life on social media and YouTube.
