The comprehensive content corporation RBW presents its unique charm in four colors.
RBW will release the project album series 'RBW POP-UP vol.3' in collaboration with Myongji University today, Jan. 18, at noon.
'RBW POP-UP' continues to make new attempts under the concept of specially showcasing 'the most dazzling new musicians' music,' much like a pop-up store. In particular, 'RBW POP-UP vol.3' is a project album born from the songwriting camp co-hosted by RBW and the Music Content Planning Department of Myongji University.
This year's songwriting camp received a total of 19 applications, with four teams selected after competing at a ratio of approximately 5:1. These teams experienced the entire process from song planning to production, receiving feedback from talented mentors, including RBW's producer Kwon Seok-hong (string arrangement) and producer Park Ji-young. Graduates from Myongji University also participated in the album production, enhancing collaboration synergies with practical know-how.
This project album includes a total of four tracks. The title track 'One Step' (Cha Seo-rin), selected as the winning track of the songwriting camp, encapsulates feelings of farewell in its delicate piano melody. Following it are SEUDA's '#Bl00m,' which combines sensory colors and music, Jeon In-ae's 'Still,' which depicts the gap of parting, and Han Si-hyun's 'Mob,' which releases the crowd's psychology with R&B soul and acid jazz, filling the album with four distinct tracks.
An RBW representative noted, "This project album, which contains the individuality of new musicians, will inspire listeners anew," adding, "We will continue to discover talented artists and conduct hands-on training constantly."
RBW has been operating songwriting camps in collaboration with Myongji University and Hanyang Women's University, among others, releasing various audio sources last year. 'RBW POP-UP vol.3' is also expected to be a project album that confirms the shining potential of K-POP newcomers. 'RBW POP-UP vol.3' will be released today, Jan. 18, through various music streaming sites.
