The group Stray Kids has made its mark in the top 10 album and CD sales in the U.S. for the first half of 2025 and has showcased its presence as a 'global top artist.'
According to the '2025 Midyear Music Report' published on the 16th (local time) by music and entertainment data aggregator Luminate, Stray Kids' SKZHOP HIPTAPE (SKZ 합 힙테이프) '合 (HOP)' recorded 149,000 CD album sales in the U.S., reaching No. 2 in the U.S. Top CD Albums category. This marks the highest ranking among Asian artists, including K-pop, highlighting Stray Kids' strong worldwide popularity.
Additionally, Stray Kids has furthered the significance by becoming the first artist to chart with different albums in the institutional sector for three consecutive years. Previously, they had occupied the top 10 CD sales in the U.S. for the first half of 2023 and 2024 with mini albums 'MAXIDENT' and '樂-STAR', respectively.
'合 (HOP)' also recorded the highest ranking among K-pop and Asian artists in the U.S. Top 10 Albums category, coming in at No. 8 when combining physical and digital sales. Stray Kids, who set a record of six consecutive No. 1 entries from their debut album '合 (HOP)' on the Billboard 200 chart last year, has dominated the album sales rankings in the U.S., elevating the group's status.
Continuing their dazzling achievements in the global music market, Stray Kids is currently conducting a successful European tour as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE.' The European tour, comprising eight shows across six regions, will head to London Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the 18th and 19th as the 'first K-pop artist to enter' before moving on to Madrid on the 22nd, Paris on the 26th and 27th, and Rome on the 30th.
