'Natural person' Lee Seung-yoon extended a helping hand in donations.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 18th that broadcaster Lee Seung-yoon donated 10 million won to aid the disaster victims affected by heavy rainfall. The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is the only legally recognized relief organization that can provide disaster relief funds for domestic natural disasters.
Lee Seung-yoon said, "With the hope that the affected neighbors can regain their smiles, I contributed a small amount of support," and noted, "I hope this situation passes without greater damage."
Lee Seung-yoon is serving as a "Hope Ambassador" for Hope Bridge and is consistently engaged in charitable acts as a member of the "Hope Bridge Honor Society," a group of major donors. He has continued to donate during domestic and international disasters such as the recent forest fires in Gangwon and the earthquake in Turkey, spreading a positive influence. The accumulated donations from Hope Bridge, including this contribution, total 1.33 billion won.
Hope Bridge Secretary-General Shin Hoon expressed gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank Lee Seung-yoon for his warm sharing with disaster-affected neighbors even in usual times," and added, "Hope Bridge will do its best to support the affected neighbors so they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
