In KBS2 'Problem Child in House', Han Seok-jun and Kim So-young showcased the insights and genuine storytelling of successful CEOs, providing substantial entertainment.
On the 17th, KBS2's entertainment program 'Problem Child in House Season 2' (hereafter 'Probation') aired its 276th episode, where Han Seok-jun and Kim So-young, who are enjoying a second peak in their careers with new professions, were invited to the rooftop room. They engaged in a dopamine-inducing quiz war with Song Eun-i, Kim Suk, Kim Jong-kook, Hong Jin Kyung, Yang Se-chan, and Joo Woo-jae over outlandish questions.
The MCs invited Han Seok-jun, who is active as a speech expert and publishing company representative, and Kim So-young, a super working mom who has developed four brands, and shared their post-retirement blueprints, capturing attention. Among them, Kim Jong-kook revealed his love for health, stating he always talks about being a trainer after retirement in response to Joo Woo-jae's advice to run a gym in the U.S., saying, "I always say I will be a trainer after retirement." Meanwhile, Han Seok-jun, who returned to KBS after declaring his freedom, expressed, "It's been 6 years since I appeared based on the entertainment department's standards. I left nicely, but KBS doesn't call me much," sharing his unique impressions of the visit.
Han Seok-jun and Kim So-young revealed updates about their businesses. When asked why her husband, who loves books, doesn't join her in the bookstore business, Kim So-young said, "My husband is just a being that brings me joy," adding, "He's not good at making money. He reads a lot and enjoys himself until he sleeps," jokingly cutting off any idea of a partnership with Oh Sang-jin, bringing laughter.
The two also revealed their usual reading volumes. Kim So-young stated, "I review about 1 to 2 books a day," surprising everyone, while Song Eun-i agreed, saying, "If I'm doing a book program and I get paid, I can read 8 books in two weeks." However, Kim Suk added, "Just because they give money doesn't mean it works. I'm the only person who got cut from the book program. It's hard to turn a page," showing a relatable and human side that added to the amusement.
Most importantly, Han Seok-jun and Kim So-young heightened interest by discussing their prospects for writing a book among the MCs of 'Probation'. Han Seok-jun mentioned, "If there's a proposal for writing, I want to do it with Joo Woo-jae and Kim Suk," expressing his desire to write books related to camping with Kim Suk and preferences with Joo Woo-jae. Kim So-young also expressed interest in Joo Woo-jae, stating, "I have someone I want to attract," and added, "I'm running a lifestyle shopping mall, and the industry says if Joo Woo-jae introduces it, it will explode. He's an attractive talent," making Joo Woo-jae's shoulders rise.
Han Seok-jun and Kim So-young also candidly shared stories about their home lives. Kim So-young revealed, "I never planned to marry a known person," declaring her marriage to Oh Sang-jin as the greatest adventure of her life. She further shared a tip for married life, saying, "These days, I think of my husband as AI and it has improved our relationship greatly," bringing laughter. On the other hand, Han Seok-jun, who was a staunch "marriage opponent," recounted the story that changed his views, confessing, "I've told so many people around me not to get married that after the marriage article came out, I received a complaint call from actor Lee Jin-wook," evoking a laugh. He also revealed his sweet lover side, turning the rooftop room pink.
Meanwhile, the day also featured fresh and informative quizzes that caught attention. Amid interesting information such as 'the donated items of author Han River', 'the positive language shared by Japanese psychologist Naito Yoshihito', and 'miracle morning routines', rich discussions related to each quiz also unfolded excitingly. Along with this, Hong Jin Kyung answered one question correctly, Kim So-young answered two questions correctly, and Kim So-young completed a warm conclusion by transferring the prize money to Kim Suk and Yang Se-chan.
