Music producer and singer MC Mong leaves his agency, One Hundred, to study abroad.
On the night of the 17th, MC Mong announced on social media (SNS), "I will entrust all the work with One Hundred and the BP M (Big Planet Made Entertainment) producer to Chairman Cha Gawon," and stated, "I have decided to study abroad for my health and my own development." He added, "I will definitely release an album this year and hold a concert that I don't know when I will do again before studying abroad."
MC Mong also noted, "I have been struggling with severe depression and health deterioration due to a surgery, making it difficult to make music," and added, "There is no need to focus on the rumors that are floating around. I am trying to choose a way to make music for a longer time."
MC Mong was working on the production of the new girl group Bad Villain under Big Planet Made Entertainment, a subsidiary of One Hundred, but was excluded from his duties last month. Both One Hundred and Big Planet Made Entertainment stated at the time that it was due to "personal circumstances."
One Hundred stated that there were "no prior discussions regarding MC Mong's study abroad announcement and that health issues are a private matter."
